| Details | Created a visual presence for the project, Goodbye G.I., which deals with the topic of the US Army pulling out of the Rhine-Neckar delta. Through events on these former military sites and other cultural projects, Goodbye G.I. attempts to assess what the US Army is leaving behind and what the Americans are taking with them. The concept of the project is to remember through different media/venues – such as theater pieces, photo and video documentation, and interviews with Americans that lived on the bases. We took this fragmentary form of memories and used it as a design element.www.goodbye-gi.de |
